It's been a while folks !!! Sorry for that....but "NATT" Butsenzeller's new album needed to be finished first... we're now ready to master the damn thing and release it !!! We'll keep you posted on the release date for sure !!

After mixing 'Natt', Butsenzeller got a visit from Melanie Kays and her spouse Alain Chautard: a French inventor, soundengineer, anarchist, soundcreator and lovely guy.
He brought along one of his creations 'La Hurface'. A machine that creates sounds using pure data and free linux software, and also able to record sounds and voices, loop them, modify them etc.........

Needless to say Butsenzeller and Alain spend some time jamming together.....also Butsenzeller's son Melvin and Senne the son of his Girlfriend Sophie, joined in on the fun !!!!

Butsenzeller just edited the recorded parts in one mp3 !!!

here is the result....COMPLETELY LIVE !!!!! NO OVERDUBS

A mayhem of electronic noises, children and other voices, beats, abstract patterns, sonic experiments and more...........

Equipment used beside 'La Hurface': turntables and records of Jean Michel, The Locust and Squarepusher, A Micropiep, boss dr 770, Roland mc 202, zoom st 224, Yamaha djx and two shure microphones......

Hope you hate it !!!!!!

Check also youtube for a videorecording !!!!

Great, groovy and nice to be back hipcats. It seems like there's some rumours going on about Butsenzeller snorting coke on the Bahama's and so...well DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE brothers and sister...ok Butsenzeller was on a short holiday to Portugal a while ago..but in the meantime really bizzy working on his new album, writing a soundtrack for a puppettheatre 'Vlinders & Co', Recording with Craig Ward for the new project 'Riefenstahl' and playing with Daau, Bearguts Quintet and Kapitein Winokio...but there was a little time left for a new episode now..........................................................................................................

While Butsenzeller is currently enjoying his holidays snorting coke in the presence of gorgeous top-models at a luxury hotel on the Bahama's, he asked top-dj's (only the best is good enough for our listeners) Robbie Robberechts and Ivonne Van Gils (of legendary Discobar Discordia's fame) for this replacement episode. Pat Stevens (Discordia's 3rd member) artistfee and hospitality ryder was just too astronomous to be included in this collaboration, sorry for that.

But Robbie and Ivonne are present here and present you their vision on hits and misses. Offcourse Butsenzeller made sure to maintain his high quality standards and so these two had to include some higher culture aswell. So no exclusivity on Flemish vomit and 80's hits, but a mix of Avant garde, noise, metal, elektronics and unavoidable some Flemish hits and 70's & 80's vomit..........

Enjoy songs and samples from

Discordia
Europe
Bon Jovi
Conny Fabri
The Locust
Queen
Victims Family
The showbusiness Giants
I Love Sarah
Woody Woodpecker
South Park
Devine
Jimi Tenor
Rick Astley
Pierre Vervloesem

and many more...not neccesarily in this peticular order.

Butsenzeller hopes you enjoy this replacement program and wishes to be with you again soon, if he doesn't has to join rehab after his wild holiday.

Yeah as i told ya, we're back. Dark days are almost over and dark days they were. Besides the christmas horrid, broken hearts, and winter depression all over, also two great men passed away: anarchist and conspiracy writer of fantastic novels like 'Illuminatus Trilogy' and 'Schroedingers Cat', Robert Anton Wilson and the godfather of soul James Brown. It seems like the good ones always have to go first don't they, while so many assholes just won't die.........So as an antidote for my Blanket of Weltschmerz we offer you now a funky set. Needless to say good old James appears more than once in it.

Besides Mr Brown also these fine funkmeisters are in the mix:

Isaac Hayes
The Marvelettes
Jamo Thomas
Booker T & The MG's
Lee Austin
Grace Jones
Compass Point Allstars
Magic Ballet Ensemble
Lightnin' Rod
Chris Brown
Shirley Bassey & Away Team
J-Walk
The Funky Low Lives
Tone-Loc
Tom Browne
Dee-lite
Chaka Khan
Mike Anthony
Beat-Nik
Action Jackson
Mc Tunes vs 808 State
Moloko
Prince
Outkast
Funkadelic

Shake that ass !!!!
